James Hillier Blount1 (Tidworth, Wiltshire, Inglaterra, 21 de febrero de 1974) conocido artística mente como James Blunt, es un cantautor británico que alcanzó la fama en 2005 con su primer álbum Back to Bedlam y su sencillo «You're Beautiful». Su estilo es una mezcla de géneros musicales que incluyen: pop, rock y folk con un matiz acústico. Poco después de realizar sus primeras presentaciones promocionarles firmó un contrato con la compañía discográfica independiente Custard Records, la cual es administrada por Linda Perry. A lo largo de su carrera ha sido acreedor a dos Premios Brit, a dos Premios Ivor Novello y fue nominado a cinco Premios Grammy en 2006. His style is a mixture of musical genres that include: pop, rock and folk with an acoustic nuance. Shortly after realizing their first presentations promote them signed a contract with the independent record company Custard Records, which is administered by Linda Perry. Throughout his career he has won two Brit Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards and was nominated for five Grammy Awards in 2006. He subsequently presented his second album, All the Lost Souls (2007), for which he won a Gold record in the first week of release.
